Job Description
This role is within Technology team as a Project Manager and Scrum Master. This role will work with several diverse teams with Technology on successful delivery of assigned complex programs and projects in an Agile environment and would be responsible for successful delivery of complex programs and initiatives.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between multiple Technical teams in making sure technical requirements are clearly understood and documented.
- Effectively manage scrum meetings such as Scrum planning, Refinement, Stand-ups. Collaborating closely with product teams, technical teams, project managers, other scrum masters
- Work with Technical teams to ensure delivery of requirements, support delivery on schedule
- Effective documentation of key technical processes, working with technical teams to work through technical details to understand and document design, key details, dependencies and map out technical processes.
- Escalate risks and issues as necessary
Education And Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 8+ years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Certified Project management and Scrum Masters preferred.
Specific Knowledge And Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/ Project Manager, or equivalent in Agile projects, managing complex projects and programs
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
- Must have strong PowerPoint development, MS-Excel, Jira skills
- Good ability to ascertain the wider objectives of projects and programs
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
- Retail industry experience preferred
- The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, multi-tasking environment
- Proven ability to interact with various levels of management and other associates
Salary/ Rate: $65-$75/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week . Contract duration is 6 months with possible extensions. This position currently does not offer any benefits.
